چکیده
Abstract In this work, a novel binary hybrid woven carbon nanotube (CNT) tape/copper wire fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite is prepared. The mode I interlaminar fracture toughness ( G IC ) employed to critically evaluate the delamination performance. A comparison of value with that confirms incorporating CNT tapes and copper wires into increases by 263%. transverse through-thickness direction, conductivity laminate 458 193 S/m, which increased 196 675%, respectively. thermal along thickness direction 2.27 W/m K, an increase 134%. volume fraction are as low approximately 0.87 0.47 vol%, 3D composites have potential applications in high-performance structures lightning striking protection such aircraft, ships, engines, benefits innovative implantation using tape wire.

Compressive response of a 3D non-woven carbon-fibre composite
The compressive response of a three-dimensional (3D) non-interlaced composite comprising three orthogonal sets of carbon fibre tows within an epoxy matrix is analysed. First, the compressive response is measured in three orthogonal directions and the deformation/failure modes analysed by a combination of X-ray tomography and optical microscopy. In contrast to traditional unidirectional and two-...

Effect of the dispersion method employed during the synthesis of carbon nanotube (CNT)/polysulfone-infused composite membranes on the quality and separation performance of the membranes during oil-water mixture separation is demonstrated. Carbon nanotube/polysulfone composite membranes containing 5% CNT and pure polysulfone membrane (with 0% CNT) were synthesized using phase inversion. Three CN...
